2019年 9 月 5 日上午，“四川技能大赛－豪吉杯第六届川菜烹饪职业技能大赛南充分赛区”开幕式，在南充天来大酒店隆重举行。本届大赛由四川省人力资源和社会保障厅、四川省商务厅、四川省总工会联合主办； 四川省烹饪协会承办。

四川省烹饪职业技能大赛是我省的品牌赛事，被行业称为“川菜奥运会”。
自 1988 年，四川省第一届烹饪职业技能大赛举办以来，已经举办了五届。

在历届省委、省政府“大力发展川菜产业”的方针指导下，赛事一直沿用由政府相关职能部门，与四川省总工会联合主办，四川省烹饪协会承办的赛事组织实施格局。
